In order to troubleshoot this issue, try one or more of the following steps:

1. Check the USB cable and make sure it is securely plugged into both the printer and the computer.

2. If you are using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is properly connected to the router or modem.

3. Restart the printer and computer.

4. Use a different USB cable or port.

5. Try to print from a different application.

6. If you are using a network connection, try printing directly from the computer using USB. Then, reconfigure the network settings of the printer.

7. Contact the manufacturer's technical support centre if none of the above steps resolves the issue.
